Fordomth was born in 2013 in Catania (IT) by the joining of six members already active in the extreme
music scene. In June 2015 the studio production of I.N.D.N.S.L.E. - In Nomine Dei Nostri Satanas Luciferi
Excelsi began, resulting in a black/funeral doom metal concept album inspired by such bands as Ahab,
Evoken, Longing for Dawn, Catacombs, Nortt.

The line-up involved in this first release is: Gianluca ‘Vacvvm’ Buscema - bass guitar (Gangrenectomy,
Spoilshroud ex-Cromia Oscura, ex-The Ancient War), Gabriele Catania - vocals (Krigere Wolf,
Gangrenectomy, Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva), Federico ‘Fano’ Indelicato - vocals
(Turbobobcat, ex-Smiling Madman, ex-Spreadin’ Fear), Riccardo Cantarella - rhythm guitar
(Homicidial Raptus, Gangrenectomy, ex-Cryptrip), Giuseppe Virgillito - lead guitar (Humanity Eclipse,
Spoilshroud, ex-Pulverized, ex-The Ancient War, ex-Winged), Mario Di Marco - drums (ex-BuiOmegA,
ex-Sicklown). Federica Catania - violin and Salvatore Calamarà - vocals (BuiOmegA, ex-Sicklown) are
featured as special guests.
In July 2015 former drummer Mario Di Marco left the band to move to England right after the
recording sessions. After that the band has been on hiatus until July 2017, when singer Federico
‘Fano’ Indelicato left. Then drummer Valerio Cimino (Torpore, ex-The Ancient War, ex-Haunted)
joined the band. In January 2018 Giuseppe Virgillito leaves the line-up, consequently Gianluca
‘Vacvvm’ Buscema takes guitar duties leaving the vacant role of bass player to Martino Razza
(Turbobobcat).
As a five-piece the band debuted live on February 17th, 2018 at Jettasangu Fest Vol. 1 (Catania). After
that show guitarist Riccardo Cantarella left the band to move to Hungary.
The current four-piece line-up has been established. As a result of these line-up changes the band
have reconsidered their sound, switching toward an overwhelming and funereal black/sludge/doom
metal.
ALBUM DETAILS

Fordomth’s much-anticipated debut full length I.N.D.N.S.L.E. - In Nomine Dei Nostri Satanas Luciferi
Excelsi is a concept album based on the theme of eternal damnation, developed under its satanic
perspectives, as the title itself suggests. Consisting of five chapters – three long-lasting tracks plus
intro and interlude – the record is a one-way journey towards an abyss of nothingness, in which there
is no room for light, hope or redemption.
Fordomth set up a soundtrack for this downfall, weaving together Ahab’s gaze into the depths and
Evoken’s unfathomable atmospheres, finally adding a stifling black metal cry reminding the works of
Nortt. Vocals are pointed out as a means to express the despair, thanks to the presence of two
vocalists in the original line-up: Gabriele Catania, dealing with abyssal gutturals and shrieks, and
Federico Indelicato, praying for mercy with otherworldly clean vocals. What is more, the record
features guest vocalist Salvatore Calamarà (BuiOmegA, ex-Sicklown) who added its contribution in
terms of variety, taking also care of mixing and mastering of the whole work.

I.N.D.N.S.L.E. is due to be released on November 10, 2018 via Endles Winter in digital, jewelcase
and digipack formats. Logo, artwork and layout have been realized by View From The Coffin.
